My New TV Show!
Hey everybody.Good things going on over here. I just found out that my new show for CBS will be on Wednesday nights at 8:30 after “The New Adventures of Old Christine”.

PLEASE don’t tell us you are leaving Ghost Whisperer?!?!?!?
My mom and I really enjoy watching you on Ghost Whisperer. We agree with Gloworm and hope you are not the missing shadow and are leaving the show. You are a great asset to the cast of Ghost Whisperer and are irreplaceable. You have added such a great dimension to the show. PLEASE do not tell us you are leaving Ghost Whisperer unless you are coming back as a guest ghost to help Melinda.
I agree with the above… Ghost Whisperer is an awesome show because of the report between the character you and Jennifer Love Hewitt embody. I would be terribly sad to see you go, and hope you can do both! Regardless, I shall continue to be a loyal fan. My husband and I were two extreme fans of your show Action, and shall continue to check and see what you do in the future..

I enjoyed the “tap it” bit. The rest of the cast looks really good. I love Larry Miller. Let’s hope he is in more than one scene. I also enjoyed the young girl who plays your daughter when she was on Back To You.
I am going to echo the others … I so hope this does not mean you are going to leave Ghost Whisperer … You are amazing on that show and you add something to it. I think fans of the Ghost Whisperer would miss you immensely if you were to leave.

I’m looking forward to your new show but like I said before, I’m going to be heartbroken to see you leave GW. The chemistry between you and JLH and the sympathy your character creates is terrific!

Great show Jay! I had to watch it twice. It is way better than your last two flops – Dog Whisperer & Caveman.
Jay, I have to tell you, your new show ROCKS !!!! I am divorced with 3 little girls and I live right down the block from my ex. Your show is right on the money, bro. I am in tears, rolling on the floor for the full 30 minutes. The chemistry on the show is great. I haven’t decided who is hotter your ex or the new girlfriend. Do you do some of the writing? The dialogue is classic. I have all of my friends calling me during the show asking me, “Did you see that, did you hear that?…That’s all you.” I was a big fan of King of Queens, but I have to tell you, you are kicking ass. Please keep up the great work. The network would be making a big mistake if they get rid of Gary Unmarried. Nobody I know has one bad thing to say about the show.

I personally find your character on Ghost Whisperer much more intriguing than this one. There are way too many sitcoms out there about divorced people. You don’t find too many personalities as unique as Prof. Payne’s. Ah well.

I like the show overall. The lines are funny, you are funny and your wife and ex-girlfriend are funny, and I think anything with James Burrows has to be liked according to the laws of entertainment, but I have a couple of thoughts. The kid who plays your son is trying too hard, IMO (at least in tonight’s epi) and your scenes with him (tonight 10/22) seemed over-the-top to me. Also a couple of places felt like you wanted to go more rapid-fire with the back-and-forth and were pausing/slowing only enough to let the other actor get their line(s) in before shooting your line back at them. It seemed a bit frantic in pace and I’m not sure if it added to the comedy. Again, just my 2 cents. Again, overall, funny, cute, good.
