Vegas
Hello friends.
I am currently sitting in my hotel room in Las Vegas at the Orleans Casino. I was booked to play three shows this weekend and in two hours I will play the third.
I just wanted to write a quick note and tell all of you that come see me perform my stand up, THANK YOU. The crowds have been so amazing here. Vegas is such an interesting audience because all the people in the theater are from somewhere else. A couple from Michigan sits next to a family of locals who sit next to a few guys from Holland, etc..
The Orleans Casino has been OUTSTANDING in making sure a good show happens. You would be surprised at how hard it can be to get a sound man to hit a sound cue (Canyon Club). I like the lights up a little in the showroom so I can see you too. Sometimes this turns into a major production. It is very obvious that the ORLEANS pride themselves at putting on great shows.
It is off the strip which had me a little frightened in regards to ticket sales. That fear went out the window when we were full Friday night. The casino is great to gamble in, the sports book is very good as well. Nice spa, good pool, great people watching. The only problem with people watching when you are on TV is getting to them before they start watching ME.
The casino is across the street from a strip club and next door is an enormous dildo factory (I’m not kidding). On the drive in I pointed out a garage door to my wife and said, “I like the garage door for the dildo delivery trucks”. My wife replied, “How do you know that door isn’t for the worlds largest dildo?”
Fair enough. By the way, my spell check is insisting that I am spelling dildo wrong.
In summary. THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY SHOWS!!!!!
JJ
Dude … OMFG.
I was at the show friday and you were f*** hilarious. The Tracy Morgan story had me rolling. I have to admit when I got the tickets I said, ok how good can it be. I had heard you on O & A a million times and expected nothing but dick and fart jokes but you really made me laugh dude.
The only problem with the show was I couldn’t see the blond with the big big life -preserving breasts cause I was clearly on the other side of the showroom….. Were they really that big ???
For any of you who haven’t seen Jay live. HE IS A MUST SEE !!!
Oh … and 1 more thing. Nikki is right. The garage doors are for the largest dildo in the world. (Nikki Cox … you lucky prick … lol)
Well, glad to know you had a good time in Vegas! I still wish you came somewhere near Minnesota…but no, sadly I am not in a location that you come to
. So, I guess I will just have to wait…oh well, I get to see your comedy on my TV screen on Wed nights…even if I still miss you on Friday nights
Jamie Kennedy is good as Eli, but he doesn’t hold a candle to you as Rick Payne!!

I will never see Jay live, so I need some advice from anyone on a DVD collection.
I have not seen Jay in person although I can’t wait too, I love his new show Gary Unmarried. Best show in years the energy between Jay and the entire cast is fantastic. Jay if you read this, I want you to know that the lines you deliver on this show are DEAD ON!!!! Your innocent school boy act is perfect with the devil may care comedy. I hope the writing stays up to the standards that we the viewers have seen so far. It has become the only show that seems to take my friends and I out of the day to day economic stress and pressures so many americans are feeling right now. Anywho on a lighter note *** YOU ROCK
